About

Long story short, a little bit about myself

So, what else do you need to know? I'm an Argentinian/Italian national, born February 7th, 1986 and grew up in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Somehow I was always inspired by Nature, fascinated and curious about wildlife. Arts and science were always my fields of interest. While studying in University to become a biologist, I practiced and studied photography, then shortly after teaching nature photography to beginners. After finishing my studies, Biology and Photography blended into a single passion. In order to capture the beauty in Nature, traveling provided the spots and moments to develop my work. This would get more and more often through the years. A huge photography project and nomadic life was slowly forming and you could say that challenge took place in 2021, when living almost permanently in a camper truck started a new way of life.

The road started from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia in Patagonia, and it was planned to continue north to the entire continent. Actually living on the road provides infinite opportunities and diversity to capture as a photographer, and that has been constantly happening ever since. Reaching Ushuaia right on time to enjoy the magical Patagonian autumn in April 2022, the road continued to Iberá wetlands and Iguazú falls in northern Argentina. By the end of 2022 a new chapter begun border crossing to Brazil. By 2023 I submerged into the beauty of the Guiana Shield, as I crossed the Amazon river and established in French Guiana to be my home base for about ten months. Meanwhile a trip to Europe took place during summer of 2023 and coming back to my camper truck in September to continue the Americas project moving through South America.

The end of 2023 I crossed Suriname and Guyana and as of 2024 I already was in south Venezuela to hike mount Roraima and getting deep into the Amazon rainforest in Brazil. This road led me to Manaus, then taking a five days ferry boat in the beautiful Madeira river to Porto Velho and then connecting towards Peru. Two and half months in Peru exploring mostly the Andes and continuing to Ecuador, where you find paradise for nature lovers. More than four months later and a Galapagos flying visit, I entered the last road trip this side of the continent in Colombia. Three years and 50.000 kms. later it's already mid October, 2024 and next year Central America, a new chapter awaits...
